Shantanu Goswami is the global leader for asset intensive industries within the Global Centre Of Excellence in SAP. He brings around 20 years of consulting experience, having worked with customers from Utilities, Travel & Transport and Retail domains. Shantanu lives in the UK.
He is responsible for creating and enabling the business centric themes for Utilities & Natural Resources which are a collection of innovative processes that have been repeatedly used by our customers. His focus for these use cases are big data enablement and the usage of the SAP Hana in-memory platform and tools like Predictive Analytics.
Shantanu is a qualified engineer by training and completed his Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from the Manchester Business School (UK). He is also a certified Messaging coach from the Corporate Visions Inc (USA).
Bala Ram, Vice President of SAP is responsible for the HANA Global Center of Excellence bringing new innovative scenarios to customers. Bala joined SAP in 2008, and initially worked in SAP Governance Risk and Compliance and ran cloud business for SAP Financial Services Network. Before SAP, Bala had 25 years of experience in software industry, including software development for utilities.
