PI Coresight 2016 brings a new look, exciting capabilities, and the start of a true visualization infrastructure to customers and partners. This presentation will show the capabilities of a new display editor that works on any device. It will also highlight new event capabilities around comparison, analysis, and annotations. Finally, the talk will describe how new extensibility capabilities will enable richer functionality faster, and how it will transform PI Coresight into an integrated visualization infrastructure.
René Thomassen joined OSIsoft in 2012 as a Center of Excellence Engineer. Prior to joining OSIsoft, he has built experience in both business and IT operations, working on business processes, IT architecture, functional and technical solutions - often based on the PI System. Ren has also worked as a project manager for both commercial and industrial applications, focusing on energy and Power Generation.
Chris Nelson is a professional software engineer and technology executive with more than 15 years of software development and architecture experience and success focused on streaming data and events. As the Director Visualization Products, Chris leads the OSIsoft Engineering teams and efforts to provide a new Modern Visualization Infrastructure for the Modern PI System. Chris joined OSIsoft in 2002 as a software developer. Prior to joining OSIsoft, Chris worked for Merck & Co., Inc., as a Manager in both Clinical Trial Systems and Manufacturing Process Information Systems.
Tom LeBay has been the Product Manager for PI Coresight since its first release in 2011. In this role Tom works closely with OSIsoft customers and product developers to help deliver great product features and customer value. Tom has been with OSIsoft for over 9 years and has previously held positions in systems engineering and channel sales. Tom has 26 years of experience working for software and process automation companies. Tom was previously named a Microsoft MVP, is an international patent holder, and holds a MBA and Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering.
